Welcome Back! All returning families need to update their family demographics and contact information at the beginning of each school year, plus pay any school fees.


Your Neighborhood School Registration

Is Saddle Ranch Elementary your neighborhood school? If so we would like to be the first to welcome you to the neighborhood and to SRE! Students new to Saddle Ranch will need to fill out the new student 2020 - 2021 registration packet. ALL forms must be completed and submitted along with a copy of : a birth certificate, proof of residency, and current immunization records in order for the packet to be accepted.

Kindergarten Registration

Is your kindergartner ready to join our amazing community? Our kindergarten teachers are ready to welcome them with arms wide open! ALL forms must be completed and submitted along with a copy of: a birth certificate, proof of residency, and current immunization records in order for the packet to be accepted. Please bring all of this to the main office of SRE to enroll. And please note, you can begin the registration process in December for the following school year! Not Returning to SRE for the upcoming school year?

Parents & Guardians - If you know your student will not be attending Saddle Ranch Elementary for the upcoming school year, please notify the SRE Registrar, Cauleen Staley, so she can help you through the withdrawal process and transition to your student's new school community.

NOTICE OF DESTRUCTION OF SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS

Special Education records which have been collected by Douglas County School District related to the identification, evaluation, educational placement, or the provision of special education in the district, must be maintained under state and federal laws for the period of five (5) years after special education services have ended for the student. Special education services end when the student is no longer eligible for services, graduates, or completes his/her educational program at age 21, or moves from the district. This notification is to inform parents/guardians and former students of Douglas County School District's intent to destroy the special education records of students who exited special education services as of June 30, 2016. These records will be destroyed in accordance with state law unless the parent/guardian or eligible (adult) student notifies the school district otherwise. After five years, the records are no longer useful to the district, but may be useful to the parent/guardian or former student in applying for social security benefits, rehabilitation services, college entrance, etc. The parent/guardian or eligible (adult) student may request a copy of the records by requesting the records by email to [email protected].
